Uniworld Boutique River Cruises owns and operates a fleet of thirteen intimate, boutique river cruise ships on the European waterways which cater exclusively to English-speaking clients. To support our Nautical Team, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional in the role of:

• Holder of a valid captain’s license for commercial inland navigation in Europe with 10+ years of maritime industry experience.
• Fluent in English and French (German and Dutch knowledge would be a plus).
• Proficient in Office 365 (experience with MXP, Radiant Fleet, and MX Suite is an advantage).

• Assume responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of our European fleet.
• Work closely with the Director of Nautical Operations and corporate captains to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with all maritime regulations, safety, health, and environmental objectives.
• Promote open and active communication, respectful leadership, and a strong safety culture.
• Plan and organize sailing schedules while addressing operational challenges.
• Support technical teams in maintaining high vessel performance and operational excellence.
• Contribute to Uniworld's sustainability goals by implementing eco-friendly operational practices.
