As Team Lead, you will own the full safety software lifecycle and guide a team of skilled engineers to deliver high-quality, safety-critical software. You’ll mentor team members developing and integrating safety algorithms for perception applications and ensure the software’s high performance and reliability. You’ll also coordinate releases, testing, verification, and documentation of the complete safety software stack. We are looking for highly motivated people to help us solve one of the most complex challenges of today and take our company to the next level.ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and grow a software engineering team developing safety-critical applications inmodern C++Driving the V-Model development lifecycle,ensuring compliance with safety andcybersecurity requirements and standardsSoftware verification, from requirementsdefinition to test execution and reporting.Ensure profound documentation throughoutthe lifecycle: including requirements, design,test instructions, and changelogsCoordinate and manage releases of our safetysoftware in collaboration with other teamsResponsible for the team’s short- and long-termactivities, planning for allocated deliverables,ensuring deadlines and qualityDriving detailed technical planning andcoordination with project management andsystem leadsFoster a system oriented, quality oriented andstrong safety and cybersecurity culture insideEmbotechRequirementsDegree in Computer Science, ElectricalEngineering, Robotics or a related fieldProficiency in modern C++3+ years of experience leading softwareengineering teamsStrong track record in developing softwareaccording to the V-Model in safety-criticalExperience with CI/CD pipelines andExcellent leadership and communication skillsFamiliarity with safety standards such as ISO26262 or ISO 13849 is a plusExperience with perception systems andsensors (e.g., LiDAR) is a plusCybersecurity knowledges is a plusKnowledge of real-time and distributedsystems is a plusGerman is a plusOur preferred starting time for this position is ASAP.
