As a Customizing Supply Planner, your role will involve building production plans that adhere to the available capacity, ensuring the availability of finished goods at the right stock locations to meet customer demand.

A Day in the Life of a Customizing Supply Planner

  • Establish a long horizon production plan for the co-packers within their responsibility.
  • Create a feasible production plan within the designated period, considering available capacity, labor, and materials, while respecting product family sequencing.
  • Identify opportunities and issues in collaboration with the co-packers.
  • Contribute to cross-functional planning activities.
  • Challenge co-packers to optimize lot sizes, cycle times, and inventory levels, and support Demand Planner to improve accuracy.
  • Establish stock policies for finished goods.
  • Analyze and evaluate the supply plan and net dispatch requirements, considering network complexity and supply constraints.
  • Manage inventory to balance product availability and minimize costs, ensuring optimum stocks in the right locations.

What will make you successful

  • Solid operational experience in areas such as Demand and Supply Planning, Factory Planning, MRP, or other demand and supply planning positions.
  • Good awareness and understanding of business and market trends.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to influence others and navigate conflicting objectives.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to challenge the current status quo.
  • Fluent in English and good command of German (B2 minimum) is a must; French is beneficial.
