For our client, a major bank, we are seeking a Business Rule Engine Developer (Java Developer & IT Service Responsible).

Tasks

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications
  • Operate and maintain IT services within defined Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Track and manage service dependencies to ensure seamless operations
  • Take responsibility for deployment pipelines and ensure smooth deployments to different environments
  • Contribute to the operation, support, and maintenance of the IT service
  • Work as part of a team to ensure continuous service operation and resolution of issues
  • Leverage experience with Business Rule Engines, particularly with Actico Platform, to implement and manage business rules effectively

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • System engineering and development on JAVA technology stack
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer on CI/CD pipelines using Git/GitLab, Octopus, Helm Charts in Docker, Kubernetes and Linux/RHEL 8 environments
  • Good understanding of integrating REST web service technologies
  • Experience with Git and Gitlab for version control
  • Experience with Eclipse for development and debugging
  • Experience with Actico Platform is desirable
  • Experience with Oracle DB and SQL
  • Beneficial: Business Rule Management (modelling, management, and implementation)
  • Beneficial: Relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes, DevOps) are a plus
  • Beneficial: Certifications, training on Visual Rules / Actico Rules are a plus
  • Good knowledge in English
