We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our cutting-edge production team In this role, you will be at the heart of manufacturing world-class underwater robotic and communication solutions, delivering mechanical and electronic assemblies, and performing precise testing and quality control while working with advanced molding and machining techniques. You will support logistics and stock management, operate specialized tools and test benches, and ensure every product meets Hydromea’s renowned standards of excellence. As a valued team member, you will also play a vital role in production process improvements, helping us deliver top-performing products consistently. Responsibilities:
  1. Mechanical assembly of parts into sub-assemblies or finished products
  2. Electronics assembly into sub-assemblies or finished products
  3. Testing of electronic sub-assemblies
  4. Molding of polymer resin under vacuum
  5. Use of tools and test benches for electronic and mechanical elements
  6. Incoming quality control, logistics, and stock management support
  7. Machining (CNC and conventional)
  8. Follow production sheets and quality control protocols
  9. Guarantee the conformity and quality of parts and assemblies
  10. Actively participate and assist in production process improvements
  11. Maintain sustained production volumes
Your Qualifications:
  1. You have a polymechanic CFC or title deemed equivalent
  2. You have professional experience in batch production and job shop systems
  3. You have experience with electronics and electronic soldering
  4. Basic electronic testing
  5. Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS)
  6. Experience with an ERP
  7. Experience using 3D printers
  8. You have experience and you are confident using machine shop equipment
  9. You are familiar with production concepts, production systems, and planning tools (Lean, 5S, Kanban, route case analysis, batch production)
  10. Good level of English (technical conversations in English)
  11. Good knowledge of CAD and CAM is a plus
  12. You are an organized and dynamic person. You pay attention to detail and like things well done
  13. You are curious by nature and able to work independently
