About the team you are joining

IATA Corporate services encompass Corporate Finance, Treasury and Tax, FP&A, Regional Finance, Corporate Risk and Compliance, Corporate Administration, and Procurement.

Join our Corporate Services (CS) division as we embark on a continuous improvement and digital transformation journey. The BORA (meaning "better" in Swahili) project aims at delivering a new ERP solution for IATA that will enable Corporate Services to deliver on its fiduciary responsibilities as well as deliver more value to the business.

This position will be responsible for leading the digital innovation and transformation efforts within the Corporate Services division and will drive the BORA project activities aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing end-to-end processes, and supporting the implementation of best practices across the organization.

This role reports to the IATA CFO, SVP Corporate Services.

What your day would be like

The Finance Transformation Lead will ensure the new ERP solution is fit for purpose, best in class, and supporting IATA's strategy.

He/She will be driving the following activities:

  1. Act as the Corporate Service lead of the BORA project, working closely with the Project manager, Program manager, CTO, and Global process owners, engaging effectively with stakeholders and ensuring business divisions' involvement.
  2. Deliver a Total Cost of Ownership for the BORA project.
  3. Steer the Corporate Services digital and process transformation roadmap and act as the business owner of the Corporate Services applications.
  4. Ensure CS applications are compliant with financial and sustainability regulations and fiduciary reporting requirements.
  5. Establish a robust business partnership with the selected ERP system integrator, ensuring comprehensive oversight of their activities and performance.
  6. Actively lead continuous improvement and transformation initiatives contributing to the BORA project, ensuring the tracking and measurement of their impact.
We would love to hear from you if

+10 years' experience in managing large scale ERP and Finance transformation projects, in a multinational organization, involving multiple stakeholders across the organization.

Proven experience in finance process improvement (order to cash, procure to pay, treasury, procurement, consolidation, financial planning & reporting), data management, change management, and digital transformation, technology savvy, knowledge of ERP cloud solutions.

An ability to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Exhibiting intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm.

Scrum or PMP certification would be an asset.

Fluent in English.

Travel Required: 5%
