YOUR CHALLENGES:
- Driving standardization part strategy of electrical C-part assortment, taking into account the company-specific requirements and economic conditions.
- Further development of processes and tools for the implementation of the standardization strategy.
- Creation, steering, and approval of electrical standards and guidelines in close cooperation with the expert networks.
- Supporting and advising customers (business units, sales, marketing, manufacturing) in the application of the documents.
- Ensuring that the standards and guidelines are well understood and followed globally.
- Evaluation of a standardization strategy and development of new requirements/methods in close cooperation with interdisciplinary expert networks.
- Monitoring, administration, and release of the electrical standard and electrical catalog parts as well as the basic tables and article specifications in the PDM/ERP system.
- Provision of documentation for procedures and processes in addition to the quality system (ISO 9001).
- Consulting, training, and support in the application of internal electrical standards and guidelines.
- Preparation, maintenance, and development of internal standards and guidelines together with the technical experts.
- Creation of internal technical specifications, regulations, and standards.
- Alignment with the technical experts regarding international norms and standards and factory standards.
- Support electrical engineering in assembly, customer requests, and product development.
- Third level support for product complaints.
- Coordination of design of electrical engineering and solution development.
YOUR COMPETENCES:
- Experience in global standardization topics of electrical part assortment for the manufacturing industry.
- Operating experience in working directly with customers, system partners, and in cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams.
- Several years of experience in electrical engineering environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or similar in Electrical / Electromechanical Product Development or comparable.
- Analytical thinking, quick comprehension, willingness to learn, distinct networked thinking, and organizational skills.
- Independence, flexibility, ability to work under pressure, reliability, and enjoyment of contact with people.
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written), strong communication skills, service orientation, and team spirit.
