The duties and responsibilities of the position include the following:

1. As Senior System Administrator you take responsibility for the performances under their webpage.
2. You will monitor and improve our build, deployment and rollback in case of failure processes.
3. Optimization of the availability and performance under the website even further.
4. Documenting operational processes and know-how.
5. You will work together with the development and quality control teams.
6. Implement in accordance with the governance requirements of the company, efficient operating processes and are the first contact for the change and incident management.

Requirements

The successful candidate will fulfill the following requirements:

1. Enjoy working in an agile and successful self-organizing project team, where previous experience using SCRUM is valuable.
2. Solid experience in the holistic operation of Enterprise Web applications.
3. Experience using Linux systems (Ubuntu, Debian).
4. Understanding of the processes of software development and ability to see the bigger picture of the projects.
5. Previous experience with all the next technologies is a big plus:
   1. Load Balancing (HA-Proxy)
   2. Web server (nginx)
   3. Caching technologies (Varnish)
   4. Enterprise search engines (SOLR)
   5. Relational databases (PostgreSQL)
   6. Monitoring (CheckMK / Nagios)
   7. Version control systems (Subversion / Git)
6. Proactive attitude.
7. High sense of initiative and commitment to work together hand in hand with different teams.
