Your Tasks- Create, optimize and maintain numerical models of the aircraft systems
- Perform modeling and simulation activities to support systems architecture definition, component sizing and requirements validation, within the New Projects department
- Ensure a close connection between Systems Engineers and the model-driven processes (Model-Based System Engineering and Model Based Design) for the airborne software generation
- Collaborate with systems and software architects to ensure consistency across systems, effective documentation and design for modularity and re-use
- Support System Engineers with the hardware-in-the-loop testing for systems integration/verification
- Write and review system requirement documents and certification engineering reports
- University Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, System Engineering or similar
- Strong background in plant modelling and simulation of mechanical and/or electrical systems with graphical programming environments e.g. Simulink, Labview, SCADE
- Knowledge of project management and issue tracking tools e.g. JIRA, version control e.g. GIT, DevOps development practices and CI/CD process automation e.g. Jenkins
- Experience in design/development of system control laws and embedded controllers is a strong plus
- Fluency in English is mandatory, German language skills are a strong plus
- Ability to efficiently engage with various stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization
