Sustainability Intern

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Sustainability Intern to support the development and execution of sustainability initiatives in Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) across Western Europe. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, marketing, and communication while contributing to Medtronic’s sustainability goals.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with ACM global teams and other Medtronic colleagues working on sustainability-related topics. Together, you will help align strategies, share best practices, and ensure the seamless integration and communication of sustainability efforts across the organization.

Internship details:

• Start date: March
• Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend
• Working hours: 40h/week with flexibility
• Working model: hybrid – 2 days in the office
• Location: Switzerland; Neuhausen
• Extracurricular internship

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Supporting Content Development & Management
• Supporting Tool Creation & Best Practices
• Supporting Strategic Alignment & Engagement
• Supporting Education & Training activities
• Supporting Communication & Advocacy activities

Required knowledge:

• Current student or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree preferably in Sustainability, Marketing, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Fluent English
• Strong interest in sustainability and ESG-related topics
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skill

Would be a plus:

• Knowledge of Italian language
• Basic proficiency with tools like SharePoint, Power BI, or similar platforms
