LI hybrid.About The RoleThe Strategy & Growth Portfolio Insights Forecasting team seeks a Director to oversee transparent, evidence-based long‑term forecasts across oncology solid tumor therapy area; synthesize risks and opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesSubject matter expert in long‑term revenue forecasting in Oncology Solid Tumor therapy area.Develop and maintain indication‑specific and epidemiology‑based sales forecasts for pipeline and in‑market brands.Collaborate with Strategy & Growth, US and International teams to integrate market insights into forecasts.Coordinate with stakeholders to align critical assumptions and treatment journey.Identify key risks and opportunities; communicate methodology.Monitor industry best practices; leverage new techniques to enhance modelling.Consolidate and summarize forecast assumptions, methodology, and results.Provide forecast models, assumption guidance, and training to S&G, US, INT colleagues.Coach and mentor junior colleagues.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Science/Economics/Statistics/Engineering/Business or related field required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.Minimum 7 years in biotech/pharma life sciences consulting with commercial assessment experience.Direct experience forecasting oncology solid tumor projects.Familiarity with epidemiology sources, IQVIA, Evaluate Pharma, claims, and other data.Experience incorporating big data analytics, competitive intelligence, primary & secondary research into forecast models.Comfortable implementing AI solutions where appropriate.Strong understanding of forecast methodologies, including patient‑based modelling and risk simulation (Monte Carlo).Expertise translating inputs from cross‑functional partners into forecast assumptions.Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction.Strong project management and multiple simultaneous projects.Effective team building and consulting skills.Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.LanguagesFluent oral and written English; other language(s) an additional asset.Commitment to Diversity & InclusionWe are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Accessibility and AccommodationNovartis is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to all individuals.
