Duties:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of all areas.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of guest requests and maintenance issues.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping services.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, cleaning methods, and industry best practices.
• Experience in a hospitality or hotel setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with custodial and industrial cleaning procedures is a plus.

Skills:

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in using cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
