Software Engineer, Computer Vision - Reality Labs Responsibilities:
- Design and develop novel factory and online calibration algorithms for sensors and displays. Design and prototype automation for calibration in collaboration with mechanical engineers and prototyping technicians.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research teams from Reality Labs and FAIR in computer vision, machine learning, and graphics.
- Participate in cutting edge research in computer vision that can be applied to AR/VR product development.
- Define projects for other engineers to achieve impact based on your direction.
- Shape the engineering team you will be an integral part of.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience developing and designing Computer Vision and Perception for Robotics technologies and systems.
- Experience engineering in C++.
- Prototyping and engineering experience in at least ONE relevant specialization area in Computer Vision or Perception for Robotics: Camera Calibration, Online Calibration, State Estimation, Sensor Fusion, 3D Reconstruction, Camera Pose Estimation, Structure-From-Motion.
- 6+ years of industry experience working on Computer Vision, Robotic Perception or Software Engineering fields.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry experience working on projects such as: Camera Calibration, Online Calibration, State Estimation, Sensor Fusion, 3D Reconstruction, Camera Pose Estimation, Structure-From-Motion.
- MSc or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Robotics or a related technical field.
- Publication track record at conferences such as SIGGRAPH, CVPR, NIPS, ECCV, ICCV, ISMAR, ICML, RSS, ICRA, IROS, etc.
