Finance Reporting

Join our dynamic team as a Finance Reporting & Analytics Expert

In this role, you'll leverage your analytical prowess to translate complex data into actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making and organizational success.

• You will join the new Finance Reporting and Analytics department, operating between the CFO, Finance and other departments (e.g. Risk Management).
• You support the Finance organization for pre-defined reports in their preparation.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.
• You are responsible for updating hierarchies, data models and master data and ensuring data quality.
• You support in the entire Report Development Process in BI, from receiving requests to initiating the changes and coordinating UAT for the following:
  • Data Model/Chart of Account changes.
  • Report creation/modifications.
  • Process improvements.
• You work in close contact and collaboration with the technical BI Team for further development and continuous improvement of reports in SAP BW across teams.
• You maintain the documentation for Business Requirements, Testing and Sign-off.
• You contribute to trainings and learnings on Reporting for the Finance Community.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and report preparation, ideally within Insurance.
• Good understanding of SAP BW functionality and concepts.
• General affinity to technology implementation concepts e.g. SDLC.
• Ability to work with large datasets and analyze complex data.
• Experience of working in a cross-functional environment.
• Ability to work independently and proactively, with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong background demonstrating co-ordination and driving to deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in German and/or English, other language skills, e.g. Italian, are advantageous.
