We are recruiting a Regulatory Compliance Officer with at least 3-4 years of experience in the Swiss banking industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance, particularly in areas such as MiFID/FINSA, cross-border activities, and market conduct. The role requires a proactive approach to managing compliance risks, ensuring adherence to regulations, and supporting the business with expert guidance on compliance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct monitoring and control activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
  2. Provide support in compliance risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  3. Monitor regulatory developments and perform impact assessments.
  4. Prepare and present regulatory changes to the Board annually.
  5. Conduct an annual review of dormant accounts and assess associated risks.
  6. Perform outsourcing reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  7. Manage day-to-day compliance queries from business units and other internal functions.
  8. Review key organizational documents (KODs) and compliance policies to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. A degree in law is preferred, though a degree in business administration or a related field is also acceptable.
  2. At least 3-4 years of experience in compliance within the Swiss banking industry.
  3. In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks (MiFID/FINSA), cross-border regulations, and market conduct rules.
  4. Strong understanding of compliance controls and their application in a financial services environment.
