Job description:

  1. You would work in the account organization of one of the largest and most strategic clients in Switzerland and report directly to the Client Account Director.
  2. As part of a team of three Account Managers, you would be the most senior person in the team and have the responsibility to build relationships with the client at the highest decision level (C-Level, VP-Level), as well as at a more operational level with technical experts and managers.
  3. You would cover the complete product portfolio of the company, which spans network equipment, IT infrastructure, and cloud solutions.
  4. In this role, you will have close collaboration with technical pre-sales teams and the project delivery teams.
  5. The role can be based in either Bern or Zurich. You are expected to work at both sites (both company sites and key account sites) and commute between Zurich and Bern on a regular basis (day trips). There is no fixed percentage of time you would work in Bern or Zurich. There is a dynamic commercial relationship with this key account, and we expect flexibility and versatility to accommodate this scenario.

Candidate profile:

  1. We are looking for a senior professional, with at least 15 years of professional experience in the ICT market, including at least 5 years in a senior key account management role.
  2. This role requires a technical background in a technology-related discipline (IT, Telecom Engineering, Electrical Engineering) and a solid understanding of Telecom and/or IT infrastructure solutions.
  3. Previous experience serving customers in the telecom sector or working for a telecom operator or a telecom vendor is preferred.
  4. In terms of skills, we are looking for someone who is reliable, well-organized, an excellent communicator, and able to manage and influence internal stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  5. Fluent German/Swiss-German skills are a must. Proficient English skills are also required.
  6. Availability to commute to Zurich and Bern on a regular basis.
