Responsibilities:

  1. Provide design support for the generation and configuration of the DeltaV system configuration for the following utility systems which are monitored and controlled by the DeltaV DCS.
  2. Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning for the classified and non-classified areas within the site manufacturing and utility areas.
  3. Environmental Monitoring System consisting of room monitoring conditions including differential pressure, humidity and temperature parameters.
  4. Air Lock Control Systems for the personal and material air lock controls to the clean rooms in the manufacturing areas.
  5. Review and approve Automation Requirements, Design, Test, Qualification and Validation documentation.
  6. Provide guidance and technical direction to the external System Integrator for the generation and testing of the DeltaV DCS software configuration.
  7. Support software FATs and SATs by approving documents and witnessing on behalf of Lonza as the Lonza Automation Representative.
  8. Support the integrated commissioning of the DeltaV system software, hardware and interfaces to the HVAC and associated systems listed above.
  9. Support the reliable operation of the HVAC control systems by providing hands-on support to troubleshoot control system software and hardware issues.
  10. Support the overall Dolphin Project Team to collate supporting information to allow timely decisions to be made that will minimize cost, timeline and quality impact on the Project.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or trade qualification in Engineering (Electrical / HVAC / Process Control, or related field).
  2. Detailed understanding of HVAC system design and operation, including design and operation of HVAC systems for Grade C & D clean rooms.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of the Automation team.
  4. Solid process control system design and configuration experience.
  5. Solid DeltaV DCS hands-on design and configuration experience.
  6. Knowledge of applicable Regulatory Requirements and Codes of Practices for automated systems, including CFR 21 Part 11, GAMP 5 2nd Edition.
  7. Experience in the Life Sciences Industries.
