Since its founding in 1999 the company utilizes a deep-tech approach that is founded on advanced science and avant-garde technologies for respiratory patients across care areas.The goal is to support enduring change in clinical practice that reduces challenges of respiratory patients, improves healthcare outcomes, and alleviates cost.Sentec applies latest scientific results and engineering technologies across the three core platforms transcutaneous monitoring, intrapulmonary percussive ventilation and electrical impedance tomography. The company researches, develops and manufactures all products exclusively in-house.Design, develop, and implement algorithms tailored to Sentec systems, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.Embedded Software Development: Develop and maintain embedded software applications in C and C++, adhering to industry standards and best practices.Software Specification and Verification Documentation: Produce detailed and accurate software specification and verification documents, outlining software functionalities, requirements, and standards.Performance Optimization: Regularly evaluate and optimize the performance of software applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.Test Framework and Coverage Improvement: Enhance and refine the test framework, aiming to increase the test coverage and ensure the robustness of software products.Supporting Regulatory Efforts: Assist in regulatory compliance and documentation efforts related to algorithm development, ensuring adherence to industry standards and legal requirements.Performing statistical and/or mathematical programming, developing reports and visual representations, developing and/or maintaining databasesHelping prepare manuscripts for publicationUniversity degree in a technical / scientific field (Master or PhD)Experience with statistical data analysis and modeling, pattern recognitionProficiency with data analysis tools (e.g. Matlab / Octave, R, SQL, Python, etc.)Ability to design experiments / studies to answer specific questions and test hypothesesExperience in software development with C, C++Experience with automated testing platforms and unit testsVery good command of English (spoken and written)Motivated to draw insights from data, develop new solutions and make an impact on patient careMeaningful activity on products that enable a personalized therapy for patientsFlat hierarchy, short decision-making processes, interdisciplinary collaborationOpportunity to contribute and develop your skills in an agile companyPolicy for unsolicited applications from recruiters and recruitment agenciesWe do not accept any unsolicited applications from recruiters or recruitment agencies without a prior written agreement between both parties.
