Senior Accountant

This role works in a multinational environment and manages accurate day-to-day accounting operations and compliance with accounting standards. The role plays a key part in maintaining financial stability and operational excellence.

Main responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the company’s accounting and financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • General Accounting: Managing accounting entries, account reconciliation, and preparing monthly and annual closings.
  • Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing tax and social security declarations while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Producing financial statements, including balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Process Supervision and Improvement: Implementing and optimizing accounting procedures and internal controls.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaising with auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitoring cash flow, analyzing variances, and forecasting liquidity needs.
  • Team Supervision: Leading and mentoring junior accountants or finance team members.

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in similar role, preferably in fast-paced environment as IT industry.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Hands-on approach with high result-focus and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Familiarity with IFRS accounting standards and regulations.
  • Fluency in English, French is an asset

Location: Navori office in Lausanne
