About Us

Your Personal AI (YPAI) is a Norway-based AI solutions company focused on creating innovative and ethical AI technologies. We are excited to partner with a globally recognized technology company on an ambitious research study aimed at enhancing smart assistant capabilities on mobile devices.

This project prioritizes participant privacy and is conducted in full compliance with GDPR regulations. All data collected will be anonymized, securely processed, and permanently deleted after the research is complete, ensuring the highest level of data security and transparency.

Role Overview

We are seeking Italian-speaking individuals in Lugano to participate in a one-time, in-person data collection session. As a participant, you will securely share selected data from your mobile device at our designated venue, helping us refine and improve smart assistant technology tailored to Italian-speaking users in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare your device by syncing specific data types (emails, messages, photos, contacts, etc.) to your iCloud account before the session.
  2. Attend an on-site session at the designated location in Lugano, bringing your Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or MacBook).
  3. Review and approve all data on-site, with the ability to delete anything you do not wish to share.
  4. Work with our team to ensure data meets project requirements.

What We're Looking For

To ensure the success of the research study, we're looking for participants who meet the following criteria:

  1. Age: 18 or older.
  2. Language: Native or fluent proficiency in Italian.
  3. Device Usage: Device language must be set to Italian for at least 90 days.
  4. iCloud Account: Ownership of an iCloud account with synced data.
  5. Data Volumes: Ability to meet minimum data requirements, such as:
    1. Messages: 700+
    2. Emails: 1,000+
    3. Photos: 1,000+
    4. Contacts: 20+
    5. Calendar Events: 3+

Compensation And Benefits

  1. Competitive Payment: Payment will vary based on the amount of data shared.
  2. iCloud Subscription Reimbursement: Annual iCloud subscription fees (up to CHF 35.88) will be covered.

Privacy and Security

At YPAI, we are committed to ensuring the highest levels of data security and transparency:

  1. Compliance with GDPR: Fully compliant with GDPR standards, ensuring lawful and transparent data processing.
  2. Voluntary Participation: Participation is entirely voluntary, and you will have full control over the data you share.
  3. Anonymization: All personal data will be anonymized and replaced with dummy data during processing.
  4. Secure Handling: Data will be processed in a secure environment and permanently deleted after the session.

You will review all data on-site and sign an Informed Consent Form (ICF) to confirm your agreement with the process.
