Developing software is great, but developing software with a purpose is even better As a Frontend Lead Engineer you’ll work on a product that helps people with the most precious thing they have — their health. In collaborative teams of developers, designers, product owners, and QA experts, you’ll experience best-in-class software development practices daily and contribute to software that meets the highest expectations — we do not put our users' lives at risk
We are looking for an experienced, motivated Frontend Lead Engineer who will work closely with their frontend and backend colleagues, as well as support our product teams. As a code-magician, you will support our efforts to make diabetes suck less. You will primarily be working in a global set-up with teams in Austria, Spain and India. You will contribute with your knowledge of frontend technologies within our agile and cross-functional teams. As a flexible and open-minded person with a passion for clean code, you will be an awesome addition to our team. Essential skills for this mission:
- Enjoy developing beautiful, responsive, fast web applications
- Minimum 5 years experience with technologies like React, Vue, or Angular
- Experience with state management (for example, Redux or MobX)
- Empower, challenge, and coach a team of engineers to grow their impact as individual technical leaders by providing them with context and continuous feedback
- Minimum 2 years experience as a technical lead
- Be proficient in HTML and CSS
- Love to work in interdisciplinary teams, together with Designers, QA, and Product Owners
- Lead technical design using solid technical principles and patterns, clean code, and future-proof architectures
- Great written and verbal communication in English
Bonus skills:
- Experience with TypeScript
- Enjoy working on test automation and deployment tooling
- Understanding of medical, security, and privacy regulations
- Knowledge of the diabetes industry or other comparable health industries

In Austria, mySugr has a legal obligation to disclose the minimum salary according to our collective agreement, which is gross €3.455 - per month for this position. But Rest assured, we offer amazing competitive compensation packages which take into consideration current market trends, therefore you can expect a higher offer that reflects your experience level.
