Assembly Integration & Test Technician (Space Products) Join the Thales Alenia Space team in Zurich. The role is 100 % full‑time, for all genders, and focuses on advanced satellite technology. Responsibilities Cleaning and preparation of components according to specifications. Performing mechanical integration tasks for space projects – components, sub‑assemblies, assemblies, instruments and systems – following drawings and space industry requirements. Documenting integration steps and maintaining traceability records (historical records, As‑Run procedures, As‑Built Components Lists). Supporting the project team for the test campaign, particularly handling hardware and mechanical activities. Providing technical support to the IVVQ Manager for integration activities, detailing steps and required time. Supporting the Design, Technology and IVVQ Teams to review hardware designs and ensure “Design for Efficient Integration”. Assisting with incoming inspections of components and assemblies when needed. Packing hardware for storage and transportation. Manufacturing mechanical components in the workshop (drilling, milling, machining) – a plus. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Space, Electronics or Electrical Engineering. Proven experience in opto‑mechanical assembly and test, either in the space industry or a comparable complex sector (defence, aerospace, watchmaking). Independent, careful, and structured work approach. Experience working in a clean‑room environment – a plus. Proficiency in English; German is a plus. Ability to work within international and interdisciplinary teams. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to present ideas, listen to others, and cooperate in heterogeneous groups. Structured, methodical working method. Proactive solution finding within available timeframes and budgets. Benefits & Location • Location: Zurich, Switzerland (Ref.
