Join to apply for the IT-Specialist (m/f) role at Coherent Corp.We are seeking an IT Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer networks and systems, creating and managing user accounts, and providing technical assistance to employees and clients.ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain computer networks and systems.Create, modify, and delete user accounts and manage access controls across systems.Provide technical assistance to employees or clients, addressing hardware and software issues, login problems, and general IT-related questions.Monitor IT Infrastructure performance and troubleshoot problems.Deploy and maintain software applications used by the organization, ensuring compatibility with systems and compliance with licensing agreements.Use ticketing systems to log and track technical issues, ensuring proper documentation of steps taken to resolve problems.RequirementsFederal Diploma, similar or higher education - or relevant specialist knowledgeExpertise in Microsoft Windows desktop administration and familiar with Office 365, MS Teams, SCCM, Intune, BitLocker and antivirus installationKnowledge of VMware, Networking protocols, Active Directory, MFA, File System security, Backups and RecoveryAbility to quickly assess, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical problemsCustomer-oriented with good communication skillsAvailable to participate in on-call service and work over weekends if necessaryFluent in German and English (oral and written)What We OfferThe opportunity to work for an international, dynamic company that offers stability, longevity and growthAn appreciative corporate cultureInteresting technical challengesAttractive salary and excellent benefits packagePlease note: for this position, we are able to consider applications from Swiss nationals, EU/EFTA nationals, Third-country nationals based in Switzerland with an appropriate work permit (B or C-permit).
