Buyer Fabrics

Job Responsibilities:

1. Independent monitoring of fabric purchasing for an assigned product group
2. Communication with suppliers worldwide
3. Negotiation of price and delivery conditions
4. Ensuring timely and demand-oriented provision of fabrics for sampling and production
5. Master Data maintenance and order monitoring
6. Monitoring and optimization of supplier performance
7. Be the link between fabric suppliers and garment makers
8. Ensuring compliance with quality and sustainability requirements
9. Verifying and processing invoices
10. Close cooperation with design, brand management, quality assurance, production planning

Required Experience and Skills:

1. Successfully completed degree in textile or clothing technology
2. 3-4 years of professional experience in purchasing or procurement of fabrics
3. Very good command of English, written and verbally
4. Profound IT skills, especially in MS Office Excel and ideally in SAP
5. Independent, careful and goal-oriented way of working
6. Numerical reasoning and analytical skills
7. Team spirit as well as strong communication and organizational skills
8. Passion and enthusiasm for fashion and lifestyle
