For our Development department that industrializes active medical devices, we are looking for a new Process Engineer.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  1. Supports the innovation, development and/or optimization of new manufacturing concepts, processes and procedures for transfer to manufacturing operations.
  2. Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques including the measurement systems.
  3. Interacts with product design and development personnel to ensure that processes and designs are compatible.
  4. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
  5. Recommends and implements equipment and process modifications to meet quality standards and improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques as well as production yields for existing products.
  6. Helps to review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules.
  7. Provides technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area.
  8. Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications.
  9. Participates in scouting and feasibility work, material selection, process and equipment selection, tooling/fixture and equipment installation, and assessment of inputs, outputs, and alignment to requirements.
Requirements
  1. Engineering Master degree with 6 months of experience or equivalent.
  2. Fluent in English and French.
  3. Project management skills a plus.
  4. Knowledge in medical device assembly, microfluidic and surface treatment a plus.
  5. Works independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments.
  6. Rigorous, proactive, flexible, results oriented and motivated by achievement.
  7. Good communication skills to operate in a multicultural environment and cross-geographies teams and to interact and influence at various levels within the organization.
  8. Autonomous, contributes to others’ success beyond own expertise and organization.
  9. Decision making abilities.
