How you’ll make an impact Lead and manage R&D projects, coordinating multi‑location and cross‑functional teams to ensure successful completion of tasks and milestones. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans defining scope, budget, schedule, and risk management strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Organize and monitor project activities, optimizing resource utilization and managing project costs to achieve established milestones effectively. Oversee project financials, identifying and managing risks while recognizing opportunities to enhance overall project outcomes. Validate business cases for R&D projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and managing change throughout the project lifecycle for optimal results. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, resolving project‑related issues and fostering strong relationships for effective communication and collaboration. Promote adherence to Hitachi Energy’s health, safety and environmental policies, fostering a culture of safety and compliance during project execution. Ensure compliance with project management processes and tools, continuously identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices that align with Hitachi Energy’s methodologies. Your background Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the energy sector or a similar industrial environment. Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, tools and best practices to effectively manage complex projects and drive successful outcomes. Solid understanding of engineering principles and technologies relevant to the energy sector, enabling effective communication with technical teams. Ability to analyze project data, identify trends and develop data‑driven solutions to overcome challenges and optimize performance. Proven ability to lead, motivate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
