Teva Pharmaceuticals International GmbH (“TPIG”) is a subsidiary of Teva Europe based in Switzerland. The company trades mainly Global Specialty medicines & Branded Generics Products with many markets in EU and the US. The company is also hosting the trading hub for our Latin American markets. TPIG is engaged in manufacturing and sales activities which are coordinated out from its headquarters in Jona. The TPIG Supply Chain owns the end-to-end supply chain of Specialty and Biologics products of Teva and leads the Supply chain activities for Project management & execution, Strategic & tactical planning as well as Supply chain operational hub which includes operational planning and execution. To execute the strategic direction of growing Teva’s specialty portfolio, we are seeking the below role to join our team.

The Senior Program Manager will have a pivotal role in managing Teva’s most strategic products across their entire lifecycle, from early-stage development to post-launch business continuity. This role will serve as the primary program manager SME & leader to drive collaboration between Teva Global Operations (TGO), Research and Development (R&D), and Commercial departments and achieve overall optimization of the program for Teva. The Senior Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams within TGO to ensure effective collaboration and execution of projects, risk mitigation & strategic planning for the programs under his/her responsibilities.

1. End-to-End Program Lifecycle Management: Oversee all operational aspects of product lifecycle management, from Initiation to post-market activities, ensuring seamless coordination across research, development, manufacturing, and commercialization phases.
2. Strategic Launch Management: Lead cross-functional teams to successfully launch critical products, aligning with strategic objectives and market demands. Coordinate activities from clinical supply to market entry, ensuring regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement.
3. Value Chain Optimization: Spearhead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability throughout the program lifecycle. Implement data-driven decision-making processes to optimize resource allocation and supply chain management.
4. Program Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. Utilize advanced project management tools and methodologies to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
5. Risk Management and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in either Industrial engineering, a science-related field or similar degree with applicable experience.
2. Additional professional qualification (e.g. APICS, PMI) is of advantage.
3. 5-7 years of professional experience in leading operations within global supply chain, logistics or procurement processes in the Pharmaceutical/ Medical devices industry.
4. Proven capability to lead cross-functional program teams within a matrix organizational structure.
5. Experience with project management and program management; pharmaceutical program management or in Biologics will be an advantage.
6. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well in teams, communicate clearly (both written and verbal), and demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
7. Interest in leadership development and contributing to team success.
8. Sensitivity to the cultural diversity of a global organization.
9. Effective conflict management skills and diplomacy to resolve differences.
10. Ability to conduct basic supply chain analysis and present conclusions.
11. Ability to identify gaps between manufacturing capacities and forecast demand, and assist in implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
12. Ability to identify opportunities and risks for assigned projects.
