Are you passionate about aerospace and eager to play a key role in the design and analysis of cutting-edge composite structures? We are looking for a Senior Engineer Composite Structures to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in Switzerland. In this role, you will contribute to the development of high-performance aircraft, working on innovative structural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, analyse, and validate composite structures for advanced aircraft.
  2. Conduct finite element analyses (FEA) to ensure structural integrity under various load conditions.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including aerodynamics, materials, and manufacturing experts, to optimise designs.
  4. Support the certification process by preparing documentation and working closely with regulatory authorities.
  5. Lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in the design and analysis of composite structures, preferably in aerospace.
  3. Proficient in FEA tools such as NASTRAN, FEMAP, ABAQUS, or similar software.
  4. Strong understanding of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and structural testing methods.
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
