Join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Stein, Switzerland as an Automation Engineer specializing in DeltaV design and commissioning. This role involves working on a Greenfield Drug Product Fill Finish facility.

Key Responsibilities for this position:

  • Design and configure DeltaV systems for Black and Clean Utilities in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment, including systems like WFI, Purified Water, Clean Steam, and Chiller Controls.
  • Serve as the interface between Process Engineering and the Automation System Integrator, ensuring clear communication and accurate interpretation of process operations into DeltaV system design.
  • Translate Process Design documents (P&IDs) into Process Descriptions, Functional Descriptions, and Automation Functional Specifications (FS) for system integration.
  • Support the Automation Commissioning Team in integrated DeltaV and equipment commissioning and qualification activities once design is complete.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Automation design and commissioning within the Lifesciences, Pharma, or Biotech industry.
  • Strong experience with DeltaV design, particularly within an S88 structure.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with process design teams and system integrators.
  • Experience in translating P&IDs into functional process descriptions for automation specifications.
