JOB PURPOSE

Inline with the company strategy, the Spa Planning & Purchasing Specialist carries out the forecasting and the procurement and logistics processes to ensure, in the correct time order, availability of stock in the Spas onboard to satisfy customer demand and significantly improve onboard revenue.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Analyse sales data and place purchase orders for consumable, retail, and small equipment orders in line with agreed item life cycle;
2. Ensure that stock needs on-board each ship are met in terms of quality and quantity, time, and location relevant to ship and area of operation;
3. Liaise with suppliers, accounting, and ships to enhance supply chain processes and avoid invoicing issues;
4. Ensure that stock levels are in line with sell through, projected customer demand and consumption levels at all times, and proactively propose to the Spa Purchasing Manager and Head of Spa corrective actions if needed;
5. Inform Spa Purchasing Manager and Head of Spa of stock excess, slow movers, and obsoletes;
6. Inform ships about upcoming deliveries in line with communication guidelines;
7. Follow up delivery from provider to Ship;
8. Ensure agencies have provided the customs documents for delivery;
9. Solve incidents of loading and price verification with the ship and the provider;
10. Create articles into the system using the correct data from supplier, and ensure that missing or incorrect data is actively corrected;
11. Organize and coordinate stock transfers, landing manifests, and returns to vendors;
12. Set prices on the system;
13. Ensure correct administration of all the data in the database.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Fluent English, Italian is a plus;
2. Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Economics, Supply Chain, Procurement, or similar;
3. Excellent knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of most common Business Intelligence packages is an advantage;
4. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills;
5. Customer focused;
6. Experience in logistic processes;
7. Attention to details.

EU Passport or Right to work in Switzerland.
