Research Engineer

Sentec is a Swiss-American medical device company specializing in respiratory care. Since its founding in 1999, the company utilizes deep-tech to develop and manufacture avant-garde technology for complex respiratory patients. Sentec provides healthcare professionals worldwide with non-invasive, accurate monitoring and effective therapeutic solutions.

Key Tasks

1. System development of a medical device sensor (including materials and processes)
2. Responsible for building sensor prototypes
3. Data analysis and communication of the sensor performances to the team
4. Setup and continuous improvement of the test environment

Your Profile

1. Master's degree in engineering or PhD in (Mechanical, Material Science, Electrochemistry, Micro-Nano Technology)
2. Experienced in data handling languages (e.g. Python, Matlab, R)
3. Know-how about electrochemical systems and sensors is a plus
4. Ready to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams
5. Dedicated to bringing technological products to market
6. Fluent in English, German is a plus
