For our customer located in Basel Kaiseraugst/Switzerland we are currently looking for a System Engineer / Administrator (m/f/x) General Information: Start Date: 1.1.26 Latest Possible Start Date: 01.02.2026 Planned Duration of Employment: 1 year Extension: Yes possible, assignment is basically planned for long term (based on performance) Department: Business Integration Management (AJCBCE) Tasks & Responsibilities System-, application- and infrastructure administration in the manufacturing and packaging area Participate in small size projects and enhancements Work together with local/global manufacturing/warehouse, suppliers and internal IT partners Create installation documentation based on existing templates and transfer knowledge to operating Teams onsite and remotely Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery Coordinate resolution of incidents and fulfillment of service requests with multiple IT delivery partners Resolve or escalate problems for resolution when appropriate Maintain and develop process and technical knowledge Must Haves Relevant completed apprenticeship in IT area or equivalent and/or ideally an advanced degree in the IT or automation field Knowledge and experience in systems administration in the manufacturing area (e.g. MES, PI, SCADA, PCS) Knowledge and experience in Windows Server and Client operating systems Knowledge and experience in Computerized System Validation Fluency German and English is a must (spoken and written) Service oriented attitude, being able to communicate with our customers, also in emergency situations Nice to Haves GMP experience Did we catch your interest?
