Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy Development: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess IT needs and develop procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Supplier Evaluation and Selection: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and select vendors that meet our quality and cost requirements.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, focusing on securing favorable terms, pricing, service level agreements (SLAs), and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Advisory Role: Provide expert advice on procurement processes, including RFQs, tenders, and vendor management, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Cost Management: Monitor procurement budgets, track spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key technology vendors and internal departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Your Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A relevant professional qualification (e.g., CIPS) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement or related fields, with a proven track record in advisory or consultancy roles.
  • Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to secure favorable terms from suppliers.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing market data and procurement metrics to inform decision-making.
