About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Systems Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will manage and optimize IT system administration, identity and access management, network administration, and security across multi-cloud environments. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

IT Systems Administration

  1. Oversee day-to-day operations of IT systems within 21Shares, ensuring high availability and performance.
  2. Implement and manage identity and access management solutions across multi-cloud environments, focusing on security and efficiency.
  3. Conduct regular system audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Network Administration

  1. Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switching and Wi-Fi, to ensure reliable and secure connectivity.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Hybrid Cloud Security

  1. Develop and implement security strategies for hybrid cloud environments, ensuring data protection and compliance.
  2. Perform security audits and hardening of systems to safeguard against potential threats.
Identity & Access Management

  1. Administer and optimize Okta and Google Workspace for seamless identity and access management.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve advanced email-related issues and ensure efficient email system operations.
Cloud and MDM Administration

  1. Manage Office365 and macOS environments to support business operations.
  2. Utilize MDM platforms such as JAMF, Kandji, Mosyle, Intune, or Hexnode for efficient device management and security.
Collaboration and Support

  1. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support IT initiatives and projects.
  2. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of IT systems engineering experience.
  2. Advanced Okta Administration.
  3. Advanced Google Administration.
  4. Advanced Email Troubleshooting Concepts.
  5. Office365 Administration.
  6. macOS Administration.
  7. Basic AWS Infrastructure Management.
  8. Proficiency in MDM Platforms (JAMF, Kandji, Mosyle, Intune, Hexnode).
Nice To Have

  1. Hardware Firewall Management.
  2. Advanced AWS Infrastructure and Security Knowledge.
  3. Azure Administration (Microsoft Entra, Active Directory).
  4. DevOps.
  5. Linux System Administration.
  6. Windows Administration.
Ideal Certifications (nice to have but not required)

  1. Google Admin Certificates.
  2. Okta Admin Certificates.
  3. Security Training/Certificates.
  4. Cisco Training Certificates.
  5. AWS Certificates.

This role is based in Zürich, and will be expected to work from Zürich office in a hybrid model Monday - Wednesday.
