As a fast-growing international company, Luxoft is always on the lookout for IT professionals from all over the world. Our specialization – Banking/Financial services, Automotive and Digital transformation areas.

Currently we're looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our team in Zurich. Our client, SwissQuant Group, provides quantitative services, consultancy, and products for financial and industrial clients, including a number of global Fortune 500 companies.

As a product owner, you will use your skills and experience across technology and finance to improve swissQuant's industry-leading risk management tool (CleaRisQ) and wealth management system.

Responsibilities:

  1. Own the end-to-end product, lead execution on new features, feature improvements and client projects.
  2. Conceptualize new features and feature improvements.
  3. Maintain and prioritize the product and sprints backlogs with the Technology team, including writing stories, estimating effort, and defining acceptance criteria.
  4. Bring together the short-term (sprints) and long-term (roadmap) product views.
  5. Build relationships with external clients, internal team members, and other business areas within swissQuant.

Skills

Must Have:

  1. Product Owner skills. You do not need to have a deep mathematical understanding (we have quants for that). You need to understand the business driver for features and conceptually understand the risk models.
  2. You write consistently good user stories. You know what constitutes a 'good' user story.
  3. Past experience as either a professional software developer, or a Product Owner/Product Manager in the financial services industry.
  4. Practical experience with scrum.
