You are the technical expert in the relationship with international customers during the sales process, including service offerings, solution design and implementation. You are the interface between our internal teams to ensure that high quality is delivered, and success criteria are met.Your first 3 months at Ontinue:Get to know the Sales Engineering team and the Sales Executives you closely work withFamiliarize yourself with our Cybersecurity and Network Security service offerings through internal training and self-learningSupport your regional Partner/Channel peers to discover new opportunities and build pipelineEngage in discovery calls and early stage opportunities together with an experienced Sales Engineer for hands-on learningUnderstand the Ontinue value proposition and use it to challenge prospects and open up opportunitiesYour Key ResponsibilitiesAssessment of customer security posture, needs and technical requirementsPresentation of security services including live demosLead technical workshops and architecture sessionsComplete RFP responses and actively participate in RFP defense meetings along with the Product and Sales teamsChallenging and updating customers\' outdated security approaches with our best-practice solutionsHandover of new customers to account management and delivery teamsRequired ExperienceThe ideal candidate will bring the following:Strong technical background in cybersecurity, including Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Sentinel, and the broader Microsoft E5 Security stackSolid understanding of core security domains: identity protection, endpoint security, cloud and network securityExperience developing and maintaining customer relationshipsFamiliarity with the DACH SOC landscape to support strategic customer consultationsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical value into business impactAbility to work independently and collaboratively across teamsWillingness to travel for customer engagements and industry eventsMust-HaveSkills we are looking for:Native German speaker, fluent in English (written and verbal)Proven experience in a Sales Engineer or similar customer-facing technical role, ideally within IT securityNice To HavesDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent professional experienceFamiliarity with the Microsoft cloud portfolio and the M365 E5 security suite, including Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365, and PurviewBackground in MXDR, MDR, or SOC services sales, with an understanding of operational models and customer needsExperience selling platform-led solutions, with the ability to position integrated value across multiple technologies and servicesWhat We OfferWe have been recognized as a top place to work.
