About the role

This opportunity is open to candidates who are currently enrolled in studies. Proof of enrollment will be required.

The Material Scheduler is responsible for coordinating the timely and efficient flow of materials to support production and meet customer demand. This role involves planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of materials throughout the supply chain, with a focus on minimizing costs, maximizing efficiency, and managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities

Improvement:

  1. Support Power BI E2E data deployment at Nyon with Pack & Technical Team.
  2. Reduce and simplify manual reports (near BOM switch alert vs production plan, production at risk in case artwork is not ready, etc.) and assess further need to gather data from disconnected systems to ensure full alignment of project information (SAP-ESCAPE-CHAMPS) and rationale of BOM switch change per project type and per market.
  3. Map SAP new code creation workflow and issue recommendations for simplification.
  4. Map and improve the product end-of-life (discontinuation) process.
  5. Improve the cost allocation report of destruction costs to markets (close work with Material Scheduling Team and Finance Team).
  6. Mapping and automation of ESCAPE tasks population.
  7. Connect with the inventory team (stock at risk) to share input on planned destruction due to artwork change.

Monitoring:

  1. Review and assess best KPIs to report E2E artwork performance at Nyon and highlight gaps.

Communication:

  1. Define and deploy internal (cross-functional teams) golden rules and operation rhythm at Nyon.
  2. Define and communicate with global team golden rules for Markets (identification of the key offender).
Qualifications and skills

Essential:

  1. Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement.
  2. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and data analysis tools.
  3. Interest in Supply Chain topics.
  4. Methodological experience and/or interest.
  5. Proficiency in using ERP systems and material planning software.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Continuous improvement mindset.
  8. Understanding of GMP and regulated consumer products or pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements.
