Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Architect to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's cybersecurity infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and protection of our systems and data assets.

Your Role

  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy and architecture.
  2. Recommend security controls and identify solutions that support a business objective.
  3. Design and implement security solutions, including next generation firewalls (including intrusion detection and prevention systems, cloud, application, encryption, and identity and access management).
  4. Advise on important security-related technologies and assess the risk associated with proposed changes. Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
  5. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies to proactively protect our organization.
  6. Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
  7. Perform security reviews, identify gaps in security architecture, and develop a security risk management plan.
  8. Evaluate architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed or provided.

Your Background

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SANS.
  3. Knowledge of the next generation firewall concepts and functions (e.g., Single point of authentication/audit/policy enforcement, message scanning for malicious content, data loss protection scanning, accelerated cryptographic operations, SSL security).
  4. Knowledge about modern IAM methods and technologies.
  5. Knowledge about SASE security models and design principles.
  6. Knowledge about Cloud security principals for IaaS and PaaS.
  7. Knowledge of the enterprise information technology (IT) architectural concepts.
  8. Good understanding around Zero Trust principles and to have Zero Trust by design.
  9. Deep knowledge of security controls used in cybersecurity frameworks like NIST CSF, CIS Controls, TISAX, CMMC 2.0.
  10. Demonstrate a deep understanding of modern OT security concepts for Industry 4.0 or Factory of the future.
  11. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
  12. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  13. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  14. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
