You work closely with internal teams, share your practical expertise, and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and processes.**How you’ll make an impact*** Perform on-site repairs and service of bushings, ensuring prompt and professional issue resolution* Carry out in-house repairs of returned products and handle non-conformance cases from production* Support failure investigations, including dissection, root cause analysis, and technical reporting* Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment handling and basic maintenance* Lead or support small improvement projects to enhance quality, processes, and service efficiency* Create service documentation, including work reports, used materials, and repair outcomes* Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times during field and workshop activities* Collaborate with engineering, quality, and sales teams to resolve escalated technical problems**Your background*** Completed technical apprenticeship or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience* Minimum 3 years of field service or technical repair experience, ideally in industrial environments* Ability to read technical drawings and schematics confidently* Strong mechanical skills and proficiency with hand and power tools* Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability to solve complex technical issues* Customer-focused communicator, fluent in German and English* Independent, self-driven work style with flexibility for variable working hoursHitachi Energy stands for innovative technologies and sustainable energy solutions worldwide.
