Job DescriptionAbout the role:
The Logistics Business Analyst is responsible for the storage and movement of materials and finished goods. This role ensures efficient shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control, contributing to the smooth operation of Takeda's supply chain.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Optimize warehouse layouts and implement lean management principles to improve efficiency.
- Analyze transportation costs and develop cost-effective transport schedules, methods, and routes.
- Coordinate customs clearances and permits to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with external transport providers.
- Utilize computer-aided design tools to plan and execute distribution strategies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
- Designs warehouse layouts with proficiency in AutoCAD, optimizing space and efficiency.
- Applies lean management principles to streamline warehouse processes and improve flow efficiency.
