Redstone Commodity Search is working with a global metals trading firm looking to hire an Aluminium trader to join their commercial team in Zurich.Key Responsibilities:Execute and grow aluminium trading activities, sourcing and selling to clients across global markets.Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and industry stakeholders in the aluminium supply chain.Analyse market data, price trends, and supply-demand dynamics to inform trading strategies.Negotiate contracts, structure deals, and oversee trade execution and logistics coordination.Monitor aluminium market developments and represent the company at industry conferences and events.Key Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) a plus.Minimum 5 years of experience in aluminium or metals trading, preferably with a trading house or financial institution.In-depth knowledge of aluminium markets, pricing mechanisms, and LME (London Metal Exchange) operations.Proven success in deal-making, client management, and achieving trading targets in commodities.Fluency in English; proficiency in German or French is highly desirable, along with strong analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg).For all positions based in Switzerland, Redstone Private Banking Search works with their licensed Swiss partner Accurity GmbH.
