We are now seeking a Buyer to join our Supply Chain team at our Netherley, Stonehaven facility – a key hub for turbine operations and customer support. What You’ll Do As a Buyer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and components that keep our turbine projects on schedule. Your responsibilities will include: Source and purchase gas turbine components, balancing cost, quality, and delivery. Build and maintain strong partnerships, negotiate terms, and monitor performance. Convert requisitions into purchase orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve any supply chain issues. Drive supplier performance reviews, manage non-conformance claims, and support quality initiatives. Provide costing information to support sales and project teams. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in procurement or supply chain within MRO or related engineering industries. Experience of supplier management and negotiation of agreements. Strong team player capable of working across various departments and with external stakeholders. Adaptable approach, able to work independently, and function effectively as part of a team.
