The Role As a Quantum Research Scientist, you’ll work hands‑on with superconducting quantum devices, bridging cleanroom fabrication and low‑temperature quantum measurements. Your work will directly improve the performance and scalability of our devices. What You’ll Do Fabricate superconducting microwave circuits in Switzerland’s most advanced cleanrooms at Park Innovaare PSI. Develop and optimize fabrication recipes: lithography, deposition, etching, and surface treatments. Build, operate, and maintain cryogenic measurement systems for advanced microwave characterization. Analyze data and collaborate with design and theory teams to drive device improvements. Must-Have Qualifications Ph.D. in Physics, Quantum/Electrical Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of cleanroom micro/nanofabrication and metrology experience. Ideal Qualifications Hands‑on experience with quantum measurements and cryogenic systems. Skilled in data analysis and scripting (Python, MATLAB, etc.). Familiar with microwave engineering and measurement equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzers, etc.). Knowledge of superconducting qubits or similar quantum devices.
