As an expert Thai masseur/masseuse, you will be a key element of our team of dedicated professionals. You will be tasked with providing top-level authentic Thai therapeutic massages to our clients, adhering to the quality standards and excellence that our salons are renowned for.

Tasks

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Thai therapeutic massage treatments

You will be tasked with performing authentic Thai massages, using traditional techniques to relieve stress, improve circulation, increase flexibility, and promote general relaxation.

  • Assessing client needs

Before each session, you will need to assess the specific needs of each client in order to propose a personalized treatment. This may include discussing health issues, identifying areas of tension, and recommending appropriate massage techniques.

  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment

The safety and well-being of our clients are our priority. Therefore, you will be responsible for maintaining an impeccably clean and safe working environment.

  • Continuous improvement of services and client experience

As a member of our team, you will work closely with your colleagues to continuously improve our services. This includes participating in training, learning new massage techniques, and contributing to the enhancement of the overall client experience.

  • Promoting Health and Wellness

As part of your role, you will also be tasked with educating our clients about the benefits of Thai massage for health and wellness. This may include advising on stretches to practice at home, the importance of relaxation and stress management, and other health and wellness-related aspects.

Requirements
  • European Nationality or EFTA member

Due to work permit restrictions, the candidate must be a citizen of a European Union country or a member of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), which includes Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland. This condition is necessary to facilitate the work permit application process.

  • Education and Experience

The candidate must hold a degree in Thai therapeutic massage from a recognized institution or must have at least 5 years of professional experience in giving authentic Thai massage. Experience in a high-end spa or salon environment is a plus.

  • Language Skills and Integration

An acceptable level in French or English is required for this position. However, we understand that language skills can always be improved. If necessary, we are able to offer language training to enhance your French or English skills.

Regarding integration in Switzerland, courses on Swiss culture and customs can also be made available to help you understand the Swiss lifestyle and familiarize yourself with local social and professional standards. Of course, these resources are available if you feel they would be beneficial to your transition.

Knowledge of a third language would be a significant asset. At our establishment, we value linguistic and cultural diversity and are committed to supporting the ongoing professional development of our team.

  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills

The Thai masseur/masseuse will be in direct contact with our clients. Therefore, they must be able to communicate effectively, create a welcoming and relaxing environment, and manage client expectations with professionalism.
