In order to strengthen our Regulatory Affairs team in the Perfumes Department based in Neuchâtel, we are recruiting a talented: Regulatory Affairs, Fixed-term contract 8 months; maternity leave
Reporting to our Regulatory Affairs & Product Safety Manager, you ensure product compliance with all applicable regulations and laws where the company markets its creations (cosmetic and non-cosmetic products).
AccountabilitiesIn this role, you handle the regulatory evaluation and approval process for raw materials used in cosmetic formulations. You collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to gather necessary regulatory, technical, and safety data to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. You ensure the completeness of the regulatory dossier of the raw materials portfolio. Additionally, you conduct impact studies to evaluate the implications of upcoming regulations on the use and safety of raw materials.
You participate in the creation of compliant packaging, paying particular attention to ensuring that all products (cosmetic and non-cosmetic products) comply with international regulatory requirements regarding labeling (list of ingredients, warnings, claims, etc.).
Finally, in collaboration with in-house experts, you ensure compliance of new and existing non-cosmetic products with enforced worldwide regulations and standards. You prepare, validate and provide the files needed for our customers' compliance and for registration purposes.
ProfileHolding a degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field, you have at least 3 years of experience in the cosmetic or chemical industry. Your expertise in Regulatory Affairs and your knowledge of worldwide cosmetics and labeling legislation are significant. Your solid understanding of the homologation process for raw materials and your knowledge of relevant chemical regulations (REACH, CLP, GPSR, etc.) will help you in this position.
Detail-oriented and organized, you can manage multiple activities at once and handle various operational files in parallel to accomplish your goals while maintaining a global vision of the projects. Autonomous and rigorous, you can work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Thanks to your excellent communication skills, you enjoy working in a multicultural environment and are a good team player.
Fluent in French and English, you are comfortable using a range of computer tools to effectively manage your daily responsibilities.
