Acoustic Engineer – Aircraft Cabins

Join to apply for the Acoustic Engineer – Aircraft Cabins role at AMAC Aerospace Switzerland AG. Design installations and modifications focusing on aircraft cabin noise reduction as part of the Systems Engineering Team. Support the in-house acoustic laboratory with equipment selection, standards development, and test procedures. Communicate effectively within the Design Organization, with Production, Maintenance, and external partners. Assist the Team Leader Mechanical Design Engineering with administrative and organizational tasks. Ensure compliance with Certification Basis, Rules, Regulations, and Means of Compliance in engineering outputs. Your Daily Tasks & Responsibilities Conduct in-house tests of materials and assemblies. Prepare technical documentation including reports, analysis, test procedures, and installation instructions. Perform acoustic analysis and calculations to support designs. Create mechanical drawings using 2D/3D CAD software. Support and perform noise ground and flight tests. Address installation and noise treatment issues, providing recommendations for improvements. Perform other duties as assigned. The expertise you have & skills you bring Engineering Degree in Acoustic, Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, or relevant field. Knowledge of sound and vibration principles. At least 3 years of experience in acoustic engineering. Proactive team player with excellent English communication skills; French and/or German is advantageous. Proficient in MS Office and 2D/3D design software.
