Junior Procurement Manager

Job Location: Zurich, Switzerland

We are currently looking for a Junior Procurement Manager to strengthen our Procurement team in Dübendorf. You will work in an international and dynamic environment and will work closely with other functional areas and stakeholders within Huawei Technologies Switzerland AG. You are expected to proactively identify and initiate internal improvements as well as to broaden responsibilities beyond the job description.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Conduct the supplier qualification/selection for specified categories and projects, ensuring strategies are consistent with company procurement procedures requirements and the mission of the procurement organization.
2. Analyze total ownership costs, and conduct cost/price discussions or negotiations.
3. Support on the new project bidding to customers, work with suppliers and internal teams, provide applicable & competitive procurement prices to the bidding team and disclose the delivery risks.
4. Routine supplier management and establish strong supplier relationships.

Requirements:

1. Recently graduated (in 2023, 2024) with a related major.
2. Teamwork capability is a must.
3. Strong ability to learn, self-management skills, and the ability to work independently.
4. High flexibility and able to manage multiple tasks, being target-oriented and able to work under pressure.
5. Ability to work in a culturally diverse, high-paced organization.
6. Fluency in English and German is a must.
