Are you looking to kick-start your career in Wealth Management operations in Zurich? Cognizant is expanding its team and seeking enthusiastic, full-time Junior Operations Analysts in Wealth Management. This hybrid banking and financial services role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of cross-border merger strategies from old entity to new entity for a leading bank.
- Assist in managing Investment Banking and Wealth Management products, focusing on Securities, Corporate Actions, Custody Services, Hedge Funds, Investment Reporting, Foreign Exchange, Collateral, and Data Management.
- Ensure smooth operations across the Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions.
- Facilitate the transfer of securities portfolios between financial institutions worldwide.
- Monitor and ensure timely settlement of client transactions in global markets.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience in securities settlements, including capturing, instructing, and monitoring orders.
- Knowledge of securities markets and custodian bank functions.
- Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, particularly MT54x settlement instructions.
- Foundational knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income products with an understanding of processing confirmations and settlements.
- Awareness of the securities domain, including corporate actions.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Basic German and fluent English proficiency.
