With our extensive engineering know-how, complex process expertise, scalable platforms, and lifelong support we are driving lasting success for your business.Your main responsibilitiesDefine and document core motion control concepts (architecture, control strategies, safety principles) to be applied across projectsDesign and implement motion control algorithms for electric motors and robotic systemsPerform system commissioning and tuning, including PID parameter optimization and motor calibrationCollaborate with Hardware and Electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of control software with drives, sensors and actuatorsDocument software architecture, control strategies, and commissioning procedures for internal and external stakeholdersEnsure training and technical support of the company’s engineersAnalytical thinkingSolution-orientedGoal achievementSafety awarenessTechnical proficiencyBuilds organizational relationshipsTeam building capabilityOpen communication and feedback-orientedOperational efficiencyPlanning and organizingProblem-solvingYour profileBachelor’s or Master’s Degree in software engineering or automationMin. 3 to 5 years proven experience in industrial software environmentStrong knowledge of motor control principles (mainly servo motors)Expertise in control theory (PID, feedforward, cascaded loops)Familiarity with motion control hardware (drives, encoders, sensors)Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in real-time environmentsKnowledge of safety standards for motion systemsKnowledge of C++ language: an assetAbility to write documentation and to elaborate and give trainingProficient in French. English: Spoken and written.
