Description:

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and implementing the FIORI tool in their location.
  • Train and assist colleagues in the use of the tool.
  • Follow up on order confirmations and delivery schedules.
  • Provide ad-hoc troubleshooting and escalation management.
  • Perform follow-on tasks like PO changes and GRN submissions.
  • Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and manage order statuses.
  • Resolve any issues related to deliveries, such as delays, shortages, or discrepancies.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
  • Assist in preparing reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining procurement documentation.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other documents for the purchasing department.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, as needed.

Your ideal profile:

  • You possess a high school diploma or equivalent; any further education in business, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
  • You have previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative role, which is preferred.
  • You have experience with SAP, which is a strong advantage.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • You are detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in your work.
  • You can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • You bring a service-oriented, helpful, and can-do attitude.
  • You possess strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • You have the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
